Dark Mode is here 🌘

Make Label Studio easier on your eyes with new Dark Mode! Toggle the settings to dark mode, light mode, or to match your system preferences. This feature is available in Beta now.

Export polygons created with BrushLabels to COCO format

You can now export polygons and rectangles created using the BrushLabels tag to COCO format. This allows you to use brush segmentation data in data pipelines that require COCO-formatted annotations.

Click & drag adjustments

Now annotators can click and drag to adjust video timeline segments or text regions.

Type to search for values in long dropdown menus

Across the Label Studio application, you can now type to search and filter for values. You no longer need to scroll for days to find the right option in a list.

Rotate your personal access tokens

Hit the new JWT endpoint to refresh your personal access tokens and block previous ones. Reference the API docs.

NumPy 2.0 support in the Label Studio SDK

Label Studio does not yet support NumPy but if you’re using the SDK or integrating the SDK into your tools, you can now use NumPy up to the latest version.

Label Studio Converter CLI

If you’re using the Label Studio SDK and related CLI, the command `label-studio-converter`is now supported. You can run this to export your labels into formats like COCO, Pascal VOC, YOLO, CSV/TSV, CONLL, and so on.
